Resin Bound Driveways and Paths
The Resin Bound System that Barnet Resin Driveways uses is a highly decorative option. It combines a two-part polymer resin with a natural kiln-dried aggregate that is put together in a forced action mixer, then manually trowelled onto a surface like tarmacadam or concrete.
The Resin Bound System is laid to a depth of 12 mm to 25 mm – it will depend on how the area is used as well as the size of the aggregate. It is normally laid to take care of puddle-forming areas and other imperfections. The finish it leaves is smooth, seamless and non-slip.
The non-slip coating gets applied to the screed surface. It can then be adapted to suit a number of different requirements (such as swimming pool surrounds or extreme gradients). This solution is very low maintenance and offers a natural stone finish that is aesthetically pleasing and beautiful.
